Partner Spotlight: Everett Community College’s Corporate & Continuing Education Center

Everett Community College’s Corporate & Continuing Education Center (CCEC) is a local educational leader that the Center of Excellence is proud to partner with. The two organizations regularly share insight and referrals to local manufacturing employers, with both organizations working to meet the needs of our manufacturing base.

CCEC does more than manufacturing education, with classes offered online, hybrid and face-to-face. Programs are designed for busy working adults, start year-round and include short-term classes, certificate programs and industry-recognized certificates. Classes offer the opportunity to advance careers, develop a business and work towards personal and professional goals.

CCEC also offers customized training to meet the needs of organizations, taught at our locations, at off-site company sites or online. Now more than ever, professional development is crucial for employee retention and the overall success of a business. Investing in employees pays off both short and long-term, with higher morale, improved productivity and a stronger bottom line.

Center of Excellence staff are always looking to learn something new. Classes we’re considering:

Andrew Chia, a recent graduate of CCEC’s Project Management and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate programs states, ” The Project Management and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificates have helped me advance my career. The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate program especially broadened my perspective in performing my work at Boeing. It helped me to build and train my mindset to
always look for process improvement in the work that I perform. The knowledge and skills that I gained in the classroom prepared me for real life experiences in my job.”
