The Center of Excellence for Aerospace & Advanced Manufacturing, in partnership with Impact Washington, is pleased to present Everett Community College’s Manufacturing Day Tour and Exploration Event, taking place April 21-23.
In partnership with Snohomish STEM, more than 500 high school students will visit EvCC’s Advanced Manufacturing Training & Education Center. Over three days, students will attend the premier county-wide manufacturing career exploration opportunity, introducing students to pathways in high-demand and high-wage industries, including aerospace and advanced manufacturing.
Students will attend interactive presentations on welding, machining, composites, engineering tech and mechatronics, engage in hands-on demonstrations from local employers and assemble take-home projects, all while exploring future careers.
Since its beginnings in 2015, Manufacturing Day has grown to now represent more than 20 Snohomish County schools and a wide variety of manufacturing and aerospace employers from across the region.
