On December 7th and 8th Clover Park Technical College (CPTC) opened its doors to future students, educators and partners for an advanced manufacturing open house. Attendees were able to see up close and in-person the facilities and machines used for training in robotics, automation, machining and manufacturing. Guests looked at student projects, toured the building, and were able to ask questions of faculty. Clover Park’s exceptional and new modern facility provided the backdrop for two great days open to the public.
CPTC points to four factors in the success of their students: hands-on training, faculty with industry experience, small class sizes averaging 17 students, and an inclusive and vibrant campus culture. All were on display during the open house.
Career pathways at Clover Park include aerospace and aviation, advanced manufacturing, and engineering and design. Student aid is available through FAFSA, scholarships, workforce funding, and other funding sources.
CPTC by the numbers:
- 5,844 students
- 19% first time in college
- 55% students of color
- 50% of students qualify for financial aid
