October 24th FANUC event will help attendees discover how Everett Community College is preparing students for careers in advanced manufacturing.
With the need for skilled automation workers continuing to grow, partners from industry and education will gather at Everett Community College on October 24th to learn how employers and education are partnering to meet industry. In partnership with WSU Everett, Everett Community College’s Advanced Manufacturing Technical Education Center (AMTEC) will host the upcoming professional development workshop, bringing together industry experts from FANUC (Fuji Automatic Numerical Control), maker of robots used in industry and in education, along with Klein Educational Systems.
More than ever industrial robotics and automation education programs are preparing students for industry. Find out from business and education leaders how automation is changing the landscape of the industrial workforce in Washington and how education is responding.
Throughout the day attendees will learn how employers and schools across the state are leveraging world-class robotics and CNC technologies to deliver hands-on, skills-based learning, preparing the future manufacturing workforce to succeed in high-wage, high-demand careers.
This event is open to K-12 educators, post-secondary educators and industry, with the event taking place at WSU Everett and including lunch and a tour of AMTEC. There is no cost to attend, but please sign up in advance.
