Round 11 of Career Connect Program Builders Announced

Congratulations go out to Manufacturing-focused Career Connect Washington Program Builders. Announced last week, round 11 winners include Skills, Inc., the Machinists Institute, Educational Service District 105, Boys & Girls Club of Snohomish County and Washington State University.

The manufacturing-focused Program Builder grantees represent the breadth of good work happening across the state. Skills Inc. will build a new Career Launch program in urban King and Pierce counties, while ESD 105 will create new Career Prep programs in Yakima. The Machinists Institute will also focus on Pierce County, with the Boys & Girls Club serving youth with a new Career Explore program in Snohomish County. Washington State University will expand its Career Explore program in Wahkiakum County, located in rural southwest Washington.

The Center of Excellence congratulates round 11 winners and the ongoing good work of Career Connect Washington.
