Earlier today Shoreline Community College hosted an open house for prospective students, partners, and employers at South Seattle College’s Georgetown campus. Instructors and navigators assisted students in signing up for classes, and employers including Boeing hosted tables to provide information on next steps after graduation.
Shoreline’s nationally-accredited program prepares students to set up and operate manual and CNC mills and lathes, learn computer-aided drafting, engage in quality control, and more. Upon program completion, students start their career as an automation technician, CNC machine operator, or mechatronics technician.
