Aircraft Electronics Technician Certificate

This program trains a student in electronic circuit analysis, functional testing and troubleshooting of complex linear and digital systems. Additional material specific to aircraft maintenance and manufacturing is included. This program is intended to prepare a student to take the National Center for Aerospace and Transportation Technologies (NCATT) Aircraft Electronics Technician Certification exam.
Skill Sets
Upon completion of the Program Requirements for this degree/certificate, students will be able to:
  • Build a circuit from a schematic diagram.
  • Solve electronics math problems.
  • Use electronic test equipment to test and troubleshoot circuits.
  • Apply industry standard methods to the replacement of parts and wiring.
  • Identify major aircraft components and their purposes.
